Trademark protection: your trademark in good hands
What is a trademark?
Trademarks help distinguish your company, product, or service and are therefore incredibly valuable. Proper trademark protection is therefore crucial. With the experienced trademark attorneys at Vriesendorp & Gaade, your trademark is in good hands; whether you need trademark research, advice on trademark protection, or trademark registration at home or abroad.
Which trademark attorney
suits you best?
We are happy to advise you on trademark protection in the Benelux and abroad, as well as your portfolio management. We can handle the entire application process for you: from the initial consultation to the registration of your trademark in the Benelux, Europe, and internationally through our worldwide network of agents. During our initial consultation, we can often provide a good assessment of the route to obtaining trademark rights in the relevant jurisdictions. You can always count on clear and practical advice.
Trade Name Availability
Before you decide to introduce a new trade name or brand, it's highly recommended to conduct a trademark search to determine whether the chosen trade name or brand name is still available. You can also safely leave this search to our trademark attorneys.
Trademark registration
A trademark is registered by filing it with the designated official government agency(ies). This can be done in the Benelux with the Benelux Office for Intellectual Property (BOIP) or abroad. For trademark registration abroad, you can opt for a national trademark registration. In certain cases, it's also possible to obtain trademark rights in multiple countries simultaneously with a single application. The latter is often much more cost-effective. We are happy to advise you on the best solution.
