First of all our thoughts are with the people and businesses in the Netherlands and abroad who are currently being affected by COVID-19. We assure you that Vriesendorp & Gaade has taken measures to ensure the continuity of our services during this crisis.
The health of our employees and their families is our highest priority. In this regard, we are following the directives of our government. Other than that, we remain fully operational and contactable: our complete staff is working in a Remote Desktop environment and can easily and securely switch between working in the office and working from home. In other words, our service remains uninterrupted and at the level you have come to expect of us.
We can imagine that Intellectual Property does not have the highest priority at the moment. Unfortunately, many pending cases have strict due dates and many national IP offices still have to announce their measures to remedy the legal consequences of missing a due date. We will therefore keep sending you timely reminders of the due dates and are happy to discuss with you how to prevent that your valuable rights are lost, for example by requesting extensions if possible.
