Since August 2020, Marcel works as a trainee patent attorney at the Mechanical department of Vriesendorp & Gaade. His activities include the drafting and prosecution of patent applications for Dutch and foreigh clients, under the guidance of an experienced patent attorney.
Background information
Marcel studied Chemistry at the Radboud University of Nijmegen and is currently completing his PhD with interdisciplinary research focused on nano technology, hydrogels, smart materials, plasmonics and high resolution scanning microscopy at the university in Aachen, Germany.
Expertise
Because of his study in Chemistry, Marcel has a broad knowledge of various fields of technology. Due to his PhD research Marcel has also gained knowledge of physics and nano technology, and he has affinity with mechanical engineering.
